Delighted with the quality of the picture and how simple it is to use indoors and outdoors

We are delighted with the purchase of this camera and the outdoor case. It was recommended to us by a friend and chapeau.

We buy it for professional projects - to monitor some works indoors and outdoors - and we are also using it for hobbies - sunsets, to see how the bread grows before baking, etc.

FULFILLS ITS PURPOSE

I buy it because I have a construction project, which will last about 8 months, and reviews say that its battery lasts up to 90 days,
I have 2 weeks testing it and it is true the battery has not dropped 95%, the video quality is good to 1080, it is small so it can be accommodated very well wherever it is, additionally buy your case, it looks good quality, I just do not give it 5 stars because I consider the price somewhat high.

Customer Service

I have had a outdoor building project which I wanted to film over several months - and found the camera to work extremely well. The weather has been abysmal over the winter, but the waterproof case, which I bought with the camera, has kept it bone dry and the lithium battery life has been exceptional. One final point: I lost the rubber lens cap but couldn't find one online, so got in touch with support who were happy to send me two spares all the way from China at no cost. Good service indeed!

Construction Movies

Bought for recording our home construction. A little clunky to operate, but good results. Had an issue with a firmware update, but Brinno was all over it and sent a replacement quickly. Very happy.

Good for use

Excellent timelapse camera with the following drawbacks: You can't see the material from the camera, you have to download it to a PC/Mac. The format is AVI. to be taken into account to convert later. The image itself is useful for recording, but don't expect the best compression in that format for 1080. The trigger is not very friendly to know that it is working (you have to pay extra attention or else you'll see that you didn't start it). The water case works great, I left it for 3 months searching a mural and it lasted both the battery and the equipment. The cover where the USB connector and the micro SD battery go is made of poor quality rubber (the sun burns it quickly), so I just use it with the water case.
